Meet Tessa Beaver!
Beloved Companion & Notorious Sock Theif

Tessa, an Italian Greyhound who lived with the Beaver family for almost 15 years, was a “sock thief”. She loved to steal and hide your socks when you got dressed in the morning. As a puppy, she would sometimes pull them right off your feet! She loved drinking hot tea (decaf of course) out of her own mug and going for road trips (especially to her North Carolina home).

She was always a loving dog, eager to participate in her family’s debonair pursuits. Most recently, Tessa was “promoted” to a better life than here. In a short battle with cancer, Tessa held her head high, still drank her cup o’ tea, and had an overnight stay at the Ritz-Florida Veterinary Specialist in Tampa, Florida.

Tessa leaves behind her earthly family of Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, Wendy, and her cousin Emma. These were her last words: “One last thing; keep on keeping on, all of you. Keep on caring for my little buddies (even cats!) and in this way you will honor me and all the pets you have loved and lost for a while. The best way to continue your love for us is to be kind to them. So long… for now”
