    Spirite

In march 2008, Sprite, an adorable 6 month old kitten, was found living at a constructions site. The couple who found Sprite was unable to keep her, so she was brought to Cypress Creek and became a member of our family. Our previous clinic kitty, Bacon had just passed away very unexpectedly, so we welcomed the wide-eyed and energetic kitten with open arms. Sprite has maintained much of her playful behavior even as an adult cat. She loves to play hide and seek and is exceptionally good at it! She even sleeps under her bed, rarely on it. Another favorite hobby of Sprite’s is raiding the arts and crafts supply box, and then spreading those goods throughout the hospital hallways. Almost exactly one year later, she would meet her partner Bebe.

    BeBe

Bebe was found as a stray cat in March of 2009 and brought to Cypress Creek. We ere very suspicious, due to her protruding belly, that she may be pregnant. After taking radiographs, we determined that she was in fact pregnant, and also that she ahs a BB lodged next to one of her ribs. And thus, this sassy cat’s name became “Bebe”. Though the plan was to find Bebe a loving home outside Cypress Creek, we all fell in love with her spunky personality, and she too became part of our Cypress Creek family. After only a few weeks at Cypress Creek, Bebe gave birth to three kittens. She proved to be a phenomenal mother, and also helped raise five orphaned kittens in addition to her own. Bebe and Sprite became close companions. It’s not uncommon to see them both mischievously running and skidding throughout the hospital. On any given day, Bebe can be found sleeping in the mail basket in our lobby, greeting everyone (dog, cat, or human) who enters the door, playing with her beloved feathery toys, or sampling her favorite treats.

    Millie

Millie was left on our doorstep in September 2009. When Millie came out of her carrier, it was love at first site. Despite her situation, she was immediately an incredibly sweet loving cat, with the most peaceful disposition. She has claimed Kimberly as her person and spends all day in her office. She even walks around the hospital looking for Kimberly if she is not at work. Despite her tranquil personality, Millie is quite the escape artist .She has been known to open very heavy doors to free herself in order to return to her favorite sleeping spot behind the computer. When she first arrived at Cypress Creek, Mille was extremely overweight, and suffering from debilitating arthritis pain. She has lost six pounds so far, and her arthritis pain has significantly decreased with the help of monthly adequan injections.
